Promoting and Championing Neuroinclusion

We are a group of neurodivergent and neurotypical individuals who have come together to promote and champion neuroinclusion.

Dictionary Definition of Unity – “Unity is being together or at one with someone or something. It’s the opposite of being divided.”

We’re Passionate About Promoting and Championing Neuroinclusion

At Neuro Unity, we offer a comprehensive suite of services.

Website and Apps Accessibility Audits

Assessments and consultations to help organisations make their websites and apps more accessible for neurodivergent users. Reviews focus on ease of navigation, readability, and usability, offering actionable recommendations for improvement.

Advocacy

We actively advocate for policies, accommodations, and social/societal changes that support neurodivergent people. This includes working with legislative bodies, organisations, and communities to promote greater acceptance and understanding.

Support Groups/Meet Ups

We provide safe and supportive spaces (both virtual and in-person) for neurodivergent individuals to connect, share experiences, and receive peer support, led by facilitators who understand neurodivergent needs.

Neurodiversity in the Workplace Training

Through our partner Thrive Neurodiversity and Mental Health, we offer training to empower leaders and advocates within organisations to champion neurodiversity, equipping them with tools to promote an inclusive culture and provide ongoing support.

Campaigns

We raise awareness and run campaigns to promote and champion neuroinclusion. In addition, we aim to launch events and a podcast where we will interview key people in the neurodiversity space, and launch a set of awards to showcase best practice for neurodiversity.

Policy and Lobbying

We aim to actively engage with government, healthcare organisations and the NHS to establish a framework where neurodivergent individuals receive the support, resources, and acceptance they need.

Knowledge Hub

Our Knowledge Hub will aim to bring together everything together related to neurodiversity and neuroinclusion all under one roof

Our Knowledge Hub Includes:

  • Guides on each type of neurodiversity i.e. autism, ADHD, dyspraxia, dyslexia etc.
  • NHS (UK) resources on neurodiversity.
  • The diagnostic process and pathway – both NHS in the UK and private.
